Barts Cancer Institute - IT Services - Wolfson building power down. – Maintenance details

Due to critical power supply issues within the Wolfson building, planned works are scheduled for Friday 23rd September, 8am – Sunday 25th September, 8pm to replace electrical supply boards. This means there were be no power to the building across these days, whilst the works are conducted.

The impact on building users will be loss of power throughout the building from 8.00am on Friday 23rd September, this will result in NO ACCESS FOR ANY STAFF till Monday 26th September 8.00am.

Action required by staff on Thursday 22nd September at the end of their working day:

• Save all work and Log off all pc’s and power down. • Shut down any scientific experiments and equipment. • Power down any standalone servers or storage devices connected to scientific equipment of research PC’ • Remove personal effects – as there will be no access to the building during the isolation.
